I thought I would share some of these presents on here with you. The chances are most of these products will end up having a review too at some point this summer so keep posted for them haha.

- YSL Touché Éclat
- Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner
- Benefit They're Real Mascara
- Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Body Cream

My 18th Birthday!!

Hello Everybody!

I cannot believe it. I am eighteen years old. This may sound weird but as well as being happy, I am also very scared. My life is flying by and it seems like yesterday that I was 10 years old without a care in the world. Now I am an adult and am entering the big wide world of growing up (help). But enough with the quarter-life crisis, let me tell you about my birthday.

On the Sunday before my mum had organised for a load of my family members to come round. We had a good old chat, I opened my presents and ate the most amazing personalised chocolate cake. It was so nice!

On Tuesday 2nd June, my actual birthday, I woke up at 7am (I know right!). My parents both had to go to work in the morning but I wanted to open my presents first which is why there was an early start haha. They bought me a bag and earrings, as well as a few other nice things. My cat also had fun jumping on all the wrapping paper haha!

At the moment, I am unlucky to be in the middle of study leave for my A2 exams. Because I didn't want to be stuck at home on my own revising on my birthday, I organised to go out to Carluccio's to breakfast with some of my friends. We thought that if we did this at 9am it wouldn't cut out too much time from our revision schedules (God help us).

The food was lovely and I would definitely recommend it! I had the crepes with a pain au chocolat and a smoothie. It was lovely, and also great to have a catch up.

As you all know I have been stressing out. So I was planning on taking the afternoon as a little opportunity to do some revision. As you could probably have guessed that didn't happen and I ended up watching Mamma Mia and some old home videos with my sister, as well as catching up on Made In Chelsea.

In the evening after my dad got home from work we went out for a meal at an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant in our high street called The Forum. I love this place and they serve great food (and it isn't a buffet like most of the other ones near us).

Yesterday was so much fun and I received so many lovely presents from my friends and family. I am thinking of maybe doing a post on Friday on what I got for my birthday? I don't want people to feel like I am attention seeking or bragging or anything though so do let me know if that is something you would like to read. I may just include makeup and beauty type items.
